I’m Joel Libava, aka The Franchise King ® , and I’ve been involved in some facet of franchising since 1991. I was one of the first bloggers in the industry, and I still massage The Franchise King Blog almost daily. I also write about the franchise industry on Anita Campbell’s award-winning Small Business Trends website/blog, as well as on OPEN Forum By American Express.

I helped put together a team of bloggers for Business.Gov, “The Official Business Link To The US Government.” I write a monthly franchise column there.

My late father, Jerry Libava, was an ethical and transparent franchise industry executive/consultant, and I’m an apple that didn’t fall far from his tree.

I’ve always been really transparent.

Because of folks like Chris Brogan, I’m even more so now.

I have started this blog for one reason;

To help folks in my industry become more transparent in everything they do.
